After recruiting and training volunteers to tutor and mentor middle schoolers for 20+ years at Coleman Middle School, Big Brothers Big Sisters and SUCCESS in the Middle, I began using the communications skills acquired during that time on projects for my sister (their Northern Italian villa, Poggio Verde Country Villa) and my daughter (their blackberry farm/cafe/restaurant Elderslie Farm). As those other projects grew, I stepped away from mentoring and jumped into the world of food and travel (mostly to Italy and France), including planning and hosting trips to enjoy the food and wine and beautiful sites in the area around the Villa.

I have built or revised several Web sites and social media sites the last several years, including for Elderslie Farm and Elderslie Woodworks, Poggio Verde Country Villa and Fish Creek Estes Vacation Home (our home in Estes Park Colorado). My personal sites include a cooking site, Chard, Etc., and several blogs and notes from trips to Italy and France. Parts of those are posted on this site and I’ll add others as the site is refined.
