The Apartment

The apartment is on the first floor (American second floor) of a beautiful 18th century building. Recently renovated to an exacting standard, this 82 m2 (882 sq. foot) two bedroom apartment is accessed through a quiet courtyard; the front windows look out onto the courtyard and the back windows have a view of a pretty garden behind the building. The apartment can accommodate up to 6.

The living room has three large windows with plenty of light, a fireplace, dining area and a sofa which becomes a sofa bed as needed.

The kitchen, with its lovely garden view, is very well outfitted as the owners are enthusiastic cooks; it features a dishwasher, washing machine, gas stove, microwave and regular oven, food processor, full refrigerator and Nespresso maker.

The master bedroom, overlooking the garden, has an attached bath with a bathtub, shower and window. It also has a double closet and ample cupboards and drawers. The comfortable Meridiani double bed (180cm by 200cm) features an easy to access storage box underneath where extra blankets and sheets are stored. Bed-side tables and an Etro-upholstered antique bench complete the room.

The second bedroom can be made up with two twins or one queen-sized bed.  This bedroom also has plenty of storage space and storage boxes on wheels under the bed for extra blankets, sheets and towels.

Across the hall is a second small shower bathroom, also with a window. Although compact, the shower with its large rain shower head and window is comfortable and pleasant to use.

This is our own home – and we hope the details found here show that clearly.  From bed-side reading lights that are convenient and elegant, to the surround-sound stereo system, we have tried to make this apartment as pleasant, comfortable and convenient as possible.
